Chanel Red Tweed-Check Sequin & Burgundy Leather Flap Bag | Two-State Design, Gold CC & Full Burgundy Interior

Two different bags depending on whether it is open or closed. When closed: a smooth burgundy leather flap bag with sequin visible only at the sides — restrained, leather-dominant. When open: the full red tweed-check sequin pattern across the entire bag face, the burgundy flap folded back to reveal both the sequin body and the contrast between the sequin exterior and the smooth leather interior of the flap. The transition between states is a design experience.

The sequin pattern is a full two-directional check — not a stripe, but a grid. Horizontal and vertical colour sequences intersect at each sequin, approximating warp-and-weft weaving: the pattern reveals different aspects at different viewing distances. The palette — tomato red dominant, with coral orange, deep burgundy, black, warm white, pale pink, and nude — is the warmest, most wintry sequin surface in the collection. A gold CC turn-lock sits on the burgundy leather flap. The gold chain with burgundy leather interlace and full burgundy leather interior complete the system: the bag opens to the darkest tones of its own sequin palette as lining.
